Yet another superb minimalistic timepiece with the ZIIIRO brand embedded deep within the design.
Yet another great product we got our hands on from our friends at ZIIIRO and we are anxious to reveal the beauty of their latest watch design. The ZIIIRO Eclipse is a one of a kind timepiece, designed using a patented Swiss Super-LumiNova® pigment applied on the watch dial and minute hand.
For this review we got the ZIIIRO Eclipse Snow version that looks just awesome on our wrist so we could wear it on a day to day basis. The watch also comes in Black and Grey colorways. While still maintaining their minimalistic approach on design, it comes with a superb twist, a glow in the dark function that will help you see the time even in pitch black (off course first the watch needs to charge up from a light source).
As we got used to the ZIIIRO Watch design, Eclipse dispenses with conventional time-telling techniques instead of the typical hands of the classic watches. The watch has two markers that seem to be floating above the ring on the dial. The 38mm stainless steel case feel great on the hand as well as with the hardened mineral crystal lens.
The watch is powered by the Japanese Miyota quartz movement so it is reliable. To finish it all off the white rubber strap with a stainless steel buckle makes it very comfortable to wear thanks to the soft feel and versatility in the water.
The watch is priced at €149 EUR (about $205 USD) and it can be purchased from ZIIIRO’s online store.
